How does the game Zombie Slash work?

As if you were dealing with little yellow rubber ducks from a fair, aim at the heads of the zombies popping up all over the place without leaving any of them "with life". Go carefully and don't shoot a barrel full of toxic waste or a time bomb, because you'd die instantly.
