How does the game Rex Run work?

Looks like this dinosaur's in a rush to get somewhere, but first he has to jump through a landscape full of cliffs, erupting volcanoes and enormous rocks. You have to help him so he doesn't fall and collect all the coins, which'll give you lots of points.
