How does the game Mardek 3 work?

Three years after Mardek saved Belfan from the evil Moric and become a royal knight of Goznor, he has to enter the temple of the sun, which was invaded by aggressive monsters. Accompanied by Donovan and Sharla, go through the fortress eliminating all the creatures and recover the hidden treasures.
