How does the game Effing Worms 2 work?

The giant worm is back in town and he's hungry and wants fresh human flesh. You have to help him eat everything he finds to satisfy his hunger and his thirst for blood, but be really careful, because the army started following you. Eat them, too, don't leave even one person standing!
