How does the game Angry Birds Cannon 3 work?

In this Valentine's Day version of Angry Birds you have to throw red birds at their girlfriends so they reunite on such a special day. The birds' annoying enemies, the green pigs, will try to stop you by getting in the way of your shots and putting your aim and skill at calculating each trajectory to the test.
