How does the game Alien Invader work?

For once, put yourself in the place of an enormous alien who arrived on Earth to invade it and turn it into a source of resources, even if he has to annihilate the human race living there! Use your ultraviolet laser to destroy every object, building, person or vehicle that gets in your way until you complete your "conquest mission".
