How does the game Acorn's Big Adventure work?

Help Acorn on his grand adventure to eat all the mushrooms in the world. Guide the friendly character and beat all the levels full of platforms and enemies, who you'll have to destroy by throwing little acorns at them. Collect as many mushrooms as possible. They'll be scattered around or hidden in boxes that you have to smash with your head.
